What better way to start off your holiday season than by immersing yourself in the epicGreat Dickens Christmas Fair? Be prepared to travel back in time and be enchanted by the period-themed entertainment, dining, and shops.

The day after Thanksgiving, head over to Half Moon Bay to enjoy Santa’s Tree Farm And Village. Here you can pick a Christmas tree, decorate a Christmas stocking, and do a little holiday shopping at the Sleigh Bells Gift Shop.

One of the best traditions in the Bay Area is the Embarcadero Center Building Lighting & Carnival. This annual event takes place from 4PM to 7PM on November 20th, and it’s all located in the Embarcadero Center. While there, you can decorate cookies, play carnival games, and meet Santa. There is also a special event this year: a special sneak peak of Disney On Ice presents Frozen. In addition to getting to watch an ice show right in Embarcadero Center, you can also go ice skating there.

If arts and crafts are your thing, you should definitely check out Harley Farms Holiday Faire. You can listen to live music and enjoy some hot food that’ll really create a festive mood. This faire is also a great place to learn how to do new things, like make Christmas wreathes. You can sign up for workshops like this ahead of time.

This fair is packed and for good reason, festive music, treats and shopping right in the heart of downotwon. December 16th and 17th from 11 am to 6pm. This in a family-friendly indoor event. Admission is free.
