The Heritage District surrounds Downtown Sunnyvale in Central Sunnyvale. The Heritage District is bound by El Camino Real to the South, Mathilda Ave to the West, Central Expressway to the North and Fair Oaks to the East. We included other homes east of Fair Oaks in this area as well as they are also in the Sunnyvale Elementary School district. Homes in this neighborhood fall within Ellis Elementary or Bishop ElementarySunnyvale Middle or Columbia Middle and all are within the Fremont High School attendance boundary. The Heritage District is a mix of residential and commercial use including some business complexes in downtown. The area is popular due to the walkability to over 30 restaurants, coffee shops, bars like Fibbar MaGees Irish Pub, Salons and Fitness Studios like Orangetheory Fitness, and retail including an AMC dine-in movie theatre, Target and Whole Foods. You’ll find the weekly farmer’s market along Murphy Ave every Saturday morning and hop on the Cal-Trainstaion to commute to work or head to San Francisco for a Giants game.
